With Nest Protect, you get extra peace of mind as it tests itself over 400 times a day. A gentle green glow let you know everything's working fine when you turn off the lights. In the dark, it can act as your personal night-light by lighting itself up when you walk past. Because this version is battery-powered, it can be positioned anywhere in the home and only takes a few minutes to install yourself.
