VSH Tectite

- VSH Tectite comprises of a wide range of fittings for use with many different materials, including copper tube, PEX and PB pipe, and a variety of steel, including stainless - and a choice of demountable or non-demountable fittings.

Yorkshire
While manufacturing these precision-made fittings, a ring of high-quality lead-free solder is positioned in each capillary socket. When heat is applied, the solder is released into the gap between the tube and the fitting, resulting in a good joint without the need to end-feed additional solder.
- The significant advantage of the Yorkshire integral solder ring fitting is that the installer requires no additional solder. This removes expensive solder waste and the need to estimate the quantity required for a secure, reliable joint.
- Once heated, the appearance of a complete solder ring around the socket’s mouth makes it apparent that the joint has been made. The range is light and neat, with compact dimensions ideal for using limited space in ducts and other restricted areas.
Kuterlite Compression
The Kuterlite joint consists of a body with a built-in stop for receiving the tube, a compression ring the same size as the tube’s outside diameter, and a compression nut.
- The tube and fitting are assembled to make the joint, and the compression nut is tightened with a spanner. This quick and straightforward action compresses the compression ring onto the tube, creating an excellent mechanical joint.
- One of the significant advantages of Kuterlite compression fittings is that the installer joins the line by mechanical means. This heat-free system means no hot works permits are required, and joints can be made where it would otherwise be dangerous to use a naked flame.
