Description
The Atom Caution Safety Notice Hot Water Labels are adhesive and designed to be placed on outlets where the water drawn carries a risk of scolding. Following the discovery of Legionnaires disease, a potentially fatal type of pneumionia caused by inhaling airbourne water droplets containing Legionella Bacteria, owners of commercial premises are recommended to maintain stored hot water temperatures above 60°C to stop production of said bacteria. Due to the tempature that the water is stored at, there is a risk of scalding and users require to be informed of this. This is done by affixing this label to the appliance.
