Description
Grundfos MQ booster are an all-in-one unit, designed for pumping clean water from break tanks, shallow wells and general pressure boosting in private homes, farms and irrigation. The boosters are suitable for indoor as well as outdoor use. Grundfos MQ3-45 is an all-in-one booster solution for domestic use, which ensures a continuous water supply. The pump incorporates a pressure tank, pressure and flow sensor, controller and non-return valve. The controller ensures that the pump automatically starts and stops according to demand. In addition, the controller has features that protect the pump in case of faults. The compact design of the pump with the water-cooled motor makes it possible to install in the most confined spaces. The fact that the pump is water-cooled makes it ideal for domestic use, as it ensures low noise in operation. The pump is designed for a liquid temperature ranging from 0° C to +35° C and ambient temperature ranging from 0° C to +45° C. The max system pressure is 7.5 bar, with a maximum inlet pressure of 3 bar. The pump is self-priming and able to pump water from a level below the pump. Provided it is filled with water, the pump is able to lift water from a depth of 8 meters. The pump features a user-friendly control panel with an ON/OFF button and indicator lights for the operational state of the pump and faults. The pump automatically starts and stops according to demand. The pump features an automatic reset function. In case of dry running, or a similar fault, the pump will stop. Restarting will be attempted every 30 minutes for a period of 24 hours. Together with the built-in pressure tank, this ensures a stable and comfortable water supply, while causing less wear to the pump.
