City Plumbing Makes a Splash at InstallerSHOW
City Plumbing is basking in the success of its participation in InstallerSHOW, where it hosted an on-stand pub, provided live demonstrations, and commemorated the first anniversary of its customer rewards program.
The company's booth drew in hundreds of visitors throughout the three-day event. Guests at the unique "City Plumbing Arms" pub enjoyed refreshments, earned reward points, and had the chance to gain insights into the merchant's diverse product and service offerings from knowledgeable specialists.
Plumber and City Plumbing ambassador Allen Hart shared his positive experience: “The buzz at InstallerSHOW this year has been fantastic. The response to the City Plumbing stand has been overwhelming. Countless installers have enrolled in the rewards scheme and expressed a keen interest in learning more about renewable technologies.”
The My City Plumbing rewards program resonated strongly with installers, who were drawn to its enticing rewards, including travel opportunities, tech gadgets, or account credit, with no minimum purchase requirement for redemption. Attendees also joined in the celebration of the program's first birthday with cake and drinks.
Beyond the activities at its booth, City Plumbing actively engaged in discussions on industry trends and challenges. Steve Smith, Managing Director of The Bathroom Showroom, participated in a panel alongside bathroom fitters and installers, sharing their frustrations. Meanwhile, renewable energy specialists Hemal Morjaria (Managing Director - Renewables & Electrical) and Jez Climas (Head of Business Development) contributed to a session on solar energy and its integration into a broader renewable home ecosystem.
The emphasis on renewables extended to the City Plumbing stand itself, with a dedicated area showcasing cutting-edge energy-efficient technologies and new tools developed by the merchant to simplify specification and installation.
Additionally, the stand featured a replica of The Bathroom Showroom, highlighting its iflo product range.
